Creating Consistency for the Brand
I have had the opportunity to work as a marketing volunteer for AWARE, a women’s rights and gender equality NGO.
During my time as a volunteer, I was able to work on a historic document for Women's Rights in Singapore, which comprised 36 years of gender research and advocacy. The report brought together 88 of AWARE’s recommendations on issues faced by women over their life course, from youth to employment, motherhood, caregiving and retirement.
I was also asked to design and create a comprehensive Brand Guidelines document for the NGO.
Using their existing logo and colours, I was able to refresh the look of their documents by adding graphics and illustrations that would be signature to AWARE. Also, providing the NGO with colour codes and logo restrictions as they work with many interns and volunteers. I wanted to create consistency across their digital media, and creating this document allowed for this.
